Bully-Proof Your Kids Through Empowerment:
Kimber Bishop-Yanke

Parents and guardians will learn about 12 ways kids can empower themselves, build self-esteem and social skills, and manage unfriendly situations with classmates and friends to prevent themselves from getting into a bullying situation.

Parents and guardians will walk away with tools on how to build their child’s self-esteem and emotional intelligence.  They will learn how to teach their children social skills, what words they can say when friends and classmates are unfriendly, how their voice should sound and what their body language should look like.

Kimber Bishop-Yanke is the founder of Girls and Boys Empowered. For nearly 20 years, she has trained nationally and internationally on bully-proofing your children.
Kimber develops curriculum and leads programs for kids, parents and professionals on how to build confidence and self-esteem, develop social skills and emotional intelligence, and deal with unfriendly friends, mean-spirited behaviors, relational aggression and bullying.
As a volunteer, Kimber organizes Kids Against Hunger packages and is active with Kenya Relief. She has provided her program in Kenya and a number of other countries. For more information, visit www.kidsempowered.com .
